I Say GoodBye!!

This is such a hard post for me to write but I feel I should. After much questioning and heartache and deep thought I have decided to close my sim and Russh Lussh store inworld I also will be leaving secondlife I not sure for how long but this is due to a number of rl Medical Emergencies that have come up and that need my full attention. This is one of the hardest things I have ever had to do closing down after putting in so much effort, time and soul in my russh lussh store build and sim this may not be the end I hope, but right now its the best thing for me to do. I wish you all the best of luck in your future endeavors and may you remain unique and true to yourself :)

Iam sure you are all by now looking at my title and thinking hmmmm what on earth does she mean!!

Well let me fill you in:

To begin with this piece I started out creating an illusion of myself in avatar form and yet still showing my personality to some aspect in sl through art, fashion, expression and photograph, now to some it may seem a strange sense of fashion, photo or even just the thought so therefore I propose the questions if thought to each and all of you what do you see?

For some it could be Boldness to others Strangeness each and to their own i guess but in the end this photograph and the preparation gone into it by myself was an enlightening one, one in which to reflect upon ones self worth and who they are as a person.

Inspecting Objects

I was asked a little while ago to post on this subject and I thought it was about time i did!!

Basically whenever you purchase a object/ clothing design from anyone in sl you should want to know who actually designed the item.

Especially as a model its the best and easiest way to find out the actual correct designer of clothing and in case you see something you really adore on someone else you simply right click on the object inside your inventory and select properties to see the designer this will give you the correct name.
This is a sure fire way to find out a copy-bot  or a fake or a designer who proclaims to have created an outfit they actually did not without there name on it there has been no hard work by that person done simply recreating.

For me i have always inspected every object/clothing i have purchased its personal choice really but I like to know that whoever i purchased it from actually created and spent the time on the item i bought therefore it makes the hard earned money well spent in my eyes, however each and to their own.

Arcade? what springs to mind when you hear the name? to me its shoots through my mind the words: Fun, Bliss, Shopping and Awesomeness.
Practically all of the above and much, much more if you have never been to the Arcade Event you are totally missing out on something very special.
Select Designers that participate create some amazing works and choose either 1 or several items that are deemed as rare which means: they cant be bought anywhere else.

The unique thing about Arcade is everything you purchase is a lucky chance so you can end up spending heaps trust me its addictive kinda like Gatcha.

All items you purchase are transferable also and you can choose to completely resell them if you want as well another awesome feature that no other event has.

Ok So this will be a very random post!! lol the do after all call me the Queen Of Random: I was thinking as I do and well thought to myself quietly, I have alot of friends in sl who are in different professions well seeing as its easy to get caught up in the model world and not notice what is going on around you well i thought the best way would be to hear the opinions of others :)

Script usage

I recently did a post on ARC ( Avatar Rendering Cost) and one of the comments was they were curious to find out what scripts or how many scripts each hair I posted about had in them.
So I set about finding out and have posted the photos below you can see the script count for each hair is the last object in the list.

No I use Firestorm so I will Explain here how you can find out the script usuage for yourself.

1) Go up to World
2) select parcel details
3) Bottom left hand corner clock the script info
4) Then select Avatar

This is the way I have obtained the details in the photos below you can also simply: right click the object your wearing and choose more then script info and on the bottom of your screen in yellow writing it will tell you your script usage.

A big thing to remember when checking your scripts also is most hairs now have an option to delete the script after you adjust them so if your hair has that option definitely make a copy adjust it and delete the scripts. Same as for shoes and so on.

So to sum up my quick Blog about hair scripts really unless they are combined with alot of other scripts most don't have anything but they still obviously contribute to lag on any sim as does ARC.

However it is always interesting to know what your script usage is.
